Starting at the end of October and launching in different regions throughout the following months, TV Call Display lets you manage your incoming calls with your Rogers remote. It’s that easy. And it’s included with your service at no extra cost when you subscribe to Rogers Digital TV and Rogers Home Phone with Call Display.

Key features of TV Call Display

Once TV Call Display is available in your area, when your phone rings, a banner displaying the caller’s details will appear at the bottom of your screen. With the touch of a button on your Rogers remote, you can redirect a call to voicemail or snooze TV Call Display.

Best of all, it happens right on-screen. It’s an easy and convenient way to manage your home phone calls when you’re watching your favourite shows.

Now you can use your Rogers remote to:

  • Redirect calls to your Rogers Home Phone Voicemail
  • Snooze the TV Call Display banner
  • Customize your settings

Using your Rogers remote and TV Call Display – everything you need to get started.

To Voicemail - If you’re a Voicemail subscriber, press A to send a call directly to Voicemail.

Snooze - Don’t want to be interrupted? Press B to temporarily close the pop-up, and the phone will keep ringing. The default snooze time is 2 hours.

Settings - Press C to access the Settings menu and customize the default settings.

Voicemail Icon - The new Voicemail Icon appears as part of the TV Call Display Pop-up banner if you’ve got unheard Voicemails. It can also appear alone, when a Voicemail is received. The default for new Voicemail notifications is Off.

Close - Press to instantly close the pop-up. The default Call Display pop-up duration is 20 seconds.

To turn on your Voicemail icon

  1. Go to Channel 975
  2. Press Down and highlight ‘Manage Voicemail Pop-up’.
  3. Press Right and highlight ‘Pop-up Settings’.
  4. Press Down Up to highlight the desired duration: Off (default), 10, 20, or 40 seconds.
  5. Press OK / SELECT to save your choice.

More control. More convenience. Tune into Channel 975 to do more with TV Call Display and customize the feature to suit your needs. You can view a log of recent calls, change how long the pop-up banner appears on your screen when you receive a call or turn on the New Voicemail pop-up.

Turn off TV Call Display

Want to turn off TV Call Display on one of the TVs in your home? Tune in to Channel 975 and highlight ‘Manage Call Display Pop-up’. Select ‘Off’ from the list on your screen.

Set an on-screen reminder.

You can program as many on-screen reminders as you need to, and a message will pop up on your screen just before it’s showtime. This is included in your Digital TV service, at no added cost to you. And it’s as easy as 1 2 3:

  1. Press Guide on your remote. Highlight the program you want and press OK/Select.
  2. Scroll to the option SET A REMINDER TIMER FOR “SHOW NAME”.
  3. Press OK/Select.

When it’s time, a message appears on your TV screen to remind you that your show is starting.

Just use Timeshifting.

Now you can catch many of your favourite shows by finding them when they air later, during up to five different time zones. This is included in your Digital TV service, at no added cost to you.

Explore Rogers On Demand.

It’s easy to enjoy previously-aired episodes of the hottest primetime TV shows. Just go to Rogers on Demand, on Channel 100. You can choose the show and episode you want to watch from the Rogers On Demand library, and star them whenever you want. This is included in your Digital TV service, at no added cost.

Set them as your Viewer Favourites.

You can go straight to the channels you view most often simply by going into your Settings and selecting them as your favourites. This is included in your Digital TV service, at no added cost to you. And it’s as easy as 1 2 3:

  1. Press Settings twice on your remote to display menu settings.
  2. Highlight “Viewer: Favourites” and press OK/Select.
  3. Scroll through your channel lineup and press OK/Select to add or remove channels. Press Exit.

Once you’re done, simply press FAV on your remote to turn to your favourite HD channels.

Tune in to channels 500 and above.

You’ll find sports, movies, shows, news and more at their HD best when you start tuning in at Channel 500.

  3. Scroll through your channel lineup and press OK/Select to add or remove channels. Press Exit.

Use the HDTV Setup Wizard.

Use your HDTV Setup Wizard for the best picture quality. It’s easy, and you’re done in three simple steps.

  1. Turn your TV on, then plug in your HD box. Leave the box turned off.
  2. Press the Guide and Info buttons on the front of your box at the same time. The HDTV setup options screen will appear.
  3. Press A for Easy Setup, then follow the on-screen instructions.

When you’re finished, tune in to channels 500 and up for the best possible HD experience.
